Covid-19 Update

6th Aug 2021

Dear Valued Patients,

The Victorian Government has just announced a snap lockdown for Victorians due to the rising number of cases starting on 5/8/21.

Don’t worry, we will still be here for all of your dental emergencies and when you need us the most. So what exactly is an emergency dental situation? Here’s a few emergency dental situations where we can still help assist you:

  • Facial swelling!
  • Swelling inside the mouth or near a tooth!
  • Trauma to the face!
  • Knocked or broken tooth!
  • Constant, unbearable pain!

Not sure if it is an emergency? You can still call us on (03) 8797 2071 to discuss your issues or leave a message for one of our friendly dental team to get back to you!

Face Masks:

Face masks will still be required indoors in both regional Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne. This means all staff must wear a face mask in all areas of the dental practice (not just when treating patients) and patients must wear a face mask in the reception area. The face mask requirement applies to everyone aged 12 years and older unless an exemption applies.

QR Codes:
The Acting Premier has also indicated that QR code check-in will become mandatory for all workplaces with limited exceptions. We will update you with more information once it becomes available or you can ring us to learn more. (03 9315 8199)

Screening Patients:

Practices are to screen patients for symptoms and if they have been at any of the potential exposure sites. Treatment will be deferred for anyone reporting symptoms or anyone who has been at one of the exposure sites. Screening patients prior to presenting for treatment remains one of our important mitigation measures in helping to reduce the risk of exposure in our practices.

We cannot wait to serve all of our wonderful patients again.

See you soon!
