Covid-19 Update

Dear Valued Patients,

The Victorian Government announced easing of restrictions from 11.59pm Thursday 10 June 2021.

For dental practices in metropolitan Melbourne , this means that we will be able to return to Level 1 dental restrictions from Thursday 10 June 11:59 PM, bringing them in line with dental practices in regional Victoria.

Face Masks:
Face masks will still be required indoors in both regional Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne. This means all staff must wear a face mask in all areas of the dental practice (not just when treating patients) and patients must wear a face mask in the reception area. The face mask requirement applies to everyone aged 12 years and older unless an exemption applies.

QR Codes:
The Acting Premier has also indicated that QR code check-in will become mandatory for all workplaces with limited exceptions. We will update you with more information once it becomes available or you can ring us to learn more. (03 9315 8199)

Travel Restrictions:
Travel restrictions remain in place for people living in metropolitan Melbourne, with a travel limit of 25km from your primary place of residence.

Screening Patients:
Practices are to screen patients for symptoms and if they have been at any of the potential exposure sites. Treatment will be deferred for anyone reporting symptoms or anyone who has been at one of the exposure sites. Screening patients prior to presenting for treatment remains one of our important mitigation measures in helping to reduce the risk of exposure in our practices.

We cannot wait to serve all wonderful patients again, we missed you these past 2 weeks.

See you soon!
